2025 GPY CHEER BOARD MEMBERS
Chairperson:
Cassi Sanchez
This will be my second year coaching GPY Cheer and being a part of the cheer/football board. I previously coached a youth squad in Kirkland. I did All Star Cheer for a few years and cheered for my high school growing up. I have the best memories, and these experiences have made an impact on who I am today. I hope to create awesome memories for our GPY cheerleaders and families!
I have two girls that will be cheering on Freshman this year. When I’m not coaching or handling all things cheer, I love hosting events for family and friends, binge-watching shows with the hubby and snuggling up with my pug & girls.

Vice Chairperson:
Brenda Muir
Years with GP: 3 as a cheer coach and 6 as a football mom. I did all star cheer throughout high school and have a passion for the sport of cheer!
Facts About Me- I’m a mom of 3 boys; two toddlers (Irish twins) and a teenager! I am originally from South Africa, but moved to the States when I was 2. I work for a cardiac device company, but have a passion for women’s and pediatric health. You’ll catch me watching any medical TV show, Bravo or Law & Order SVU and I love a good Netflix binge. There is nothing better than watching my kid on the football field and I am so happy I get to coach the girls that cheer the team on!

Secretary:
Brianna Snider
This will be my second year with GPY Cheer. I was one of the coaches for the Freshmen and Competition Squads last year and I can't wait to help with competition again this year! Before becoming a stay at home mom with my three daughters, I was a Spanish teacher at Lake Washington High School and coached the LW cheerleading squad for two years. Growing up, I was a sideline and competitive cheerleader from 7th-12th grade. I have a passion for cheer and the support and development of youth sports programs. Watching my daughters learn and grow as they practice and compete with their friends brings me so much joy!
Cheer Safety:
Brittany Cornell
This is my 4th year as part of the GPY Cheer program, my 3rd year coaching and I serve as the Cheer Committee Safety Representative. Growing up I did ballet, jazz and hip hop, I was a cheerleader in high school and I was part of the dance team for 2 semi-professional teams in the Arena Football League and International Basketball League. I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and have worked as a hand therapist for 12 years, but by the time our season starts I will have transitioned to a stay at home mom! I love traveling and have been to 11 different countries and am currently trying to hit all 50 states before I'm 50! I also enjoy reading, crafting and exploring new restaurants and craft cocktail bars.
Cheer Fundraising:
Brianne Nevill
My name is Brianne, and I’m thrilled to be part of the GPYC program in my first year. Cheerleading has been a huge part of my life—I was on my high school’s varsity cheer and pom/dance team all four years and continued cheering for two years in college. The energy, teamwork, and passion that come with cheerleading have always been what I love most, and I’m excited to continue that journey in a new way.
Outside of cheer, I work in commercial real estate, specializing in affordable housing. I love what I do because it allows me to make a meaningful impact, helping create homes and opportunities for communities in need.
And when I’m not working or cheering, you’ll probably find me running my small business, where I create all sorts of bookish and snarky goodness! It’s my creative outlet and a fun way to connect with people who love books and a little sass as much as I do.
I’m excited for this new adventure and can’t wait to see what this year brings!

Cheer Spiritwear:
Tarianne Campbell
This will be my 5th year with GPY Cheer. I have learned a lot about cheer over the years having a cheerleader daughter who is on the Senior Squad. Over the years I have loved creating and designing my own cheer swag so I was excited to take on this role. I have three daughters 12, 10 and 6 years old. I have been a hair dresser for the last 20 years. I LOVE crafting, cooking, reading and always down for a girls HH. :)
Cheerleader & Coach Representative:
Emily Crockette
Years w/ GPY: 1st year with Cheer Board and 4 years affiliated with GPYFA.
I have 3 kids; Logan (11th grade at GP) who is an GPYFA alumni, Lachlan (4th grade) Sophomore GPYFA and Elle (2nd grade) Sophomore Cheer
Our family loves and appreciates the GP community so much. When Logan was diagnosed with cancer his 8th grade year, GP community rallied for him and gave so much support for our family. We’re forever thankful and happy to say he’s now cancer free!

Hi! My name is Jadyn Hemberry and I am so excited for my first year coaching with GPY! I spent all of high school cheering and love all things cheer! When I’m not coaching or working, you can find me reading, playing card games, hiking, listening to music, or obsessing over pictures of my 5 nieces and nephews! I cannot wait for what this season has in store!
